    PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center Riverbend is a 351-bed state-of-the-art regional medical center and level II trauma center.

Qualifications:

    \n
  • \n

    Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to work collaboratively within the ICU with all team members and across the hospital.

  • \n
  • \n

    A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting.

  • \n
  • \n

    Authorized to work in the United States.

  • \n
  • \n

    Not considering 2027 fellows at this time.

Scheduling:

  • \n

    14 clinical shifts per month with roughly 1/3 night shifts.

  • \n
  • \n

    2 intensivists & 2 APP's on 12-hour day shift (7AM-7PM). Nights are covered by 2 intensivists (7PM-7AM).

  • \n
  • \n

    We collaborate to manage the schedule as equitably as possible, ensuring intensivists achieve an outstanding work/family life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

    Care for medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac ICU patients.

  • \n
  • \n

    Work collaboratively with daytime intensivists, APP's, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, consultants, and hospitalist team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care services.

    EMR: EPIC.
