Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting children and adolescents with speech and language needs in an educational setting. This full-time position offers flexibility with start times between 7:30-8:00 AM and end times between 3:30-4:00 PM, extending through the school calendar until May 20, 2027. You’ll primarily serve students aged 3 to 12, with occasional engagement with a small number of high school students.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience is desired
- Strong communication, organization, and case management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide standardized and informal speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Deliver therapy for identified speech and language needs in individual and small group formats
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant student support services
