Work a 7-on/7-off night schedule in an open ICU while managing a broad critical care scope with supervising physician backup available.

Practice & Cases
- Open ICU with 6 ICU beds
- Adult critical care patient population with an average daily census of 10 and 2 to 4 admissions per day
- Full ICU scope including ventilator management, intubation, central and arterial lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and moderate sedation
- Supervising physician available on call
Schedule
- 7-on/7-off overnight blocks
- 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
- One orientation day before clinical coverage
- Available coverage blocks:
- August 17-23
- August 31-September 6
- September 14-20
- September 28-October 4
- October 12-18
- October 26-November 1
- November 9-15
- November 23-29
- December 7-13
- December 21-27
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner
- Active Michigan license required
- Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- ACLS and BLS required
Logistics
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
- Orientation stipend provided based on orientation duration
