Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience working in school-based settings is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Skilled in conducting assessments and writing detailed evaluative reports
- Dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with varying needs
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Develop and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with staff on strategies for classroom language support
- Monitor and document student progress toward established goals
- Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in professional development to stay abreast of best practices
