Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ communication skills for the 2026-2027 school year! This role offers the chance to collaborate with educational staff and make a meaningful impact, working either onsite or on a hybrid schedule, beginning August 17th, 2026, and concluding June 14th, 2027. Supervise an enthusiastic SLPA and directly manage a manageable caseload of 20 students in a supportive K-12 environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Maryland
  • Maryland teaching certification required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy settings preferred
  • Ability to provide SLPA supervision (onsite/hybrid supervision as required)
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
  • Oversee and mentor an SLPA as part of your daily/weekly duties
  • Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, faculty, and parents
  • Attend and contribute to required meetings and assist in developing IEPs as needed
  • Maintain flexibility in service delivery with onsite or hybrid presence to ensure compliance with supervision requirements
