Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Parkville, MD

Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) for practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools.
• Previous experience delivering speech and language services in a K-12 school setting is highly valued.
• Expertise developing and implementing IEPs, providing therapy, and collaborating with teachers and families.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals.
• Deliver direct speech and language intervention for students individually or in group settings.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Contribute your skills to multidisciplinary teams, supporting a positive educational environment.
