Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and collaborating with a skilled SLPA in a vibrant educational environment. This part-time position, starting August 17th, 2026 and concluding June 14th, 2027, is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in school settings. Candidates will work 20–25 hours weekly with flexibility for onsite or hybrid scheduling, creating meaningful impact through direct service and supportive supervision.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License required
- Maryland Teaching Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- School-based SLP experience highly desirable
- Previous supervisory experience or confidence leading SLPA caseload support
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite or in a hybrid model as required for supervision needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA in delivering effective services to a defined caseload of approximately 20 students
- Provide direct speech/language therapy (individually or in groups) in accordance with IEP requirements
- Develop and implement treatment goals, collaborate with teachers and support teams
- Conduct and document evaluations, progress notes, and required reports
- Communicate with parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Adhere to compliance and ethical standards for schools and professional licensure
- Participate actively in meetings, contributing expertise for student success
