Financial App Data Contributor, AI Training Project
Job Description
Our client is seeking US-based contributors for a short-term AI training project involving personal financial-app data. Contributors will download native account-history or activity files from accounts they personally own, use the project’s on-device tool to redact personal and financial identifiers, and submit the resulting cleaned files through the client’s secure project platform.
\nThis opportunity is intended for people who actively use several common financial services. You do not need accounts with specific national institutions. Accounts from legitimate regional banks, credit unions, card issuers, and other supported providers may also qualify.
What You'll Provide
\nTo complete the project, you must provide native account-history or activity exports from at least six qualifying financial apps or accounts. These may include statements, transaction histories, reports, tax transcripts, or equivalent CSV, PDF, XLSX, or OFX files:
\n- \n
- One bank account. \n
- One credit-card account. \n
- One payment or peer-to-peer app, such as PayPal or Venmo. \n
- One credit-score or credit-reporting app. \n
- One tax-filing service or tax account. \n
- One additional app from an eligible elective category, such as investing, budgeting, cryptocurrency, lending, student loans, mortgage, insurance, payroll, or retirement. \n
The submitted account-history or activity files should generally contain at least one year of recent data and cover reasonably consistent time periods. The project team will provide platform guidance, export instructions, and support for project-related questions.
\nSelf-created financial artifacts, such as a personal budget or spending tracker, are welcome but optional. Not having one does not disqualify you.
\nPrivacy and Project Process
\n- \n
- You will download account-history or activity files only from accounts you own and are authorized to use. \n
- You will never be asked to share account passwords, login credentials, or live account access. \n
- The project provides a tool designed to redact personal and financial identifiers locally on your device before files are uploaded. \n
- Only the resulting cleaned files should be submitted through the project platform. \n
- You will have access to review and accept the project's consent, privacy, and data-license terms during onboarding before sharing any data. \n
Eligibility
\n- \n
- Must be at least 18 years old. \n
- Must currently reside in one of the 50 US states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, or another eligible US territory. \n
- Must have qualifying accounts in all five mandatory categories plus at least one elective category. \n
- Must be able and willing to download available native exports containing at least one year of recent account history or activity data across qualifying accounts, covering generally consistent time periods. \n
- Must be comfortable installing and using the project's local redaction tool and submitting the cleaned outputs through the project platform. \n
- Must follow all project instructions and complete any required corrections before Final Approval. \n
Time Commitment
\nThe client estimates that completion may take approximately 20-30 minutes when all account-history or activity exports are already available. Retrieving those files and completing the full workflow may take approximately 60-90 minutes depending on the institutions and account history. These are estimates, not guaranteed completion times.
\nCompensation
\nCompensation is $350 USD for one completed submission that receives Final Approval. Partially completed, rejected, or unfinished submissions are not eligible for payment.
