Salary Range: $46.47 - $64.93 per hour

Position Overview:

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing School
  • Valid RN license in New Jersey

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Enrollment in a BSN program within 6 months of employment
  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and writing abilities
Required Certifications and Licenses:
  • Current NJ RN License
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Completion of 8 hours of continuing education in cerebrovascular disease annually
Scheduling Details:
  • Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Part-Time Position
  • Every other weekend is mandatory; weekday schedule will vary based on departmental needs
Key Responsibilities:

The Professional Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical team, adhering to the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. This role involves executing the hospital's mission and objectives through established policies and performance improvement initiatives. The nurse will provide individualized, age-appropriate care to patients within their assigned unit, utilizing an understanding of growth and development principles to assess and address each patient's specific needs.
