Job Description
This role presents a chance to become a part of our orthopedic team within a collaborative, community-focused practice. Due to a high demand for patient care, there is an immediate opening to establish a thriving, high-volume hand practice while enhancing access to specialized care in the area.
Position OverviewHand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon
The focus will be on essential hand and upper extremity surgical interventions, with an expected annual volume of hand procedures and significant potential for growth. You will engage in a diverse array of operations, including:
- Tendon and nerve repair
- Fracture fixation
- Carpal and cubital tunnel release
- Trigger finger release
- Thumb CMC arthroplasty
- Wrist arthroscopy
- Ligament reconstruction
- Deformity correction
- Selected shoulder and elbow procedures
- A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree is required.
- A valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Georgia is mandatory.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified status is preferred.
- A valid DEA certificate without restrictions is necessary.
- Experience in an outpatient medical setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in computer usage is required.
