School Speech Language Pathologist - Palatine, Illinois

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current or anticipated CCC-SLP credential, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
• Illinois state licensure for SLP or ability to obtain
• Experience or a strong interest in providing school-based speech therapy services
• Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Maintain and utilize equipment and testing materials provided
• Participate in monthly meetings, regional roundtables, and cross-disciplinary collaborations
• Contribute to ongoing process improvement, staying current with best practices in the field
• Engage in regular check-ins with mentors and supervisors
• Take part in annual performance reviews to celebrate achievements and identify growth opportunities
