School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Yelm, Washington

Professionals in this role work directly onsite, interacting face-to-face with students and collaborating with teachers and other staff.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and comfort working independently with a diverse student population
• Ability to manage a caseload of 45-50 students efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
• Conduct initial evaluations, reassessments, and progress monitoring
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams on student needs and interventions
• Create individualized goals and monitor outcomes for students on the caseload
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for best student outcomes

Position Details:

• Four part-time positions open
• Each position is for 7.5 hours per week, onsite only (no remote or hybrid)
• Support for a caseload of 45-50 students throughout the academic year
