Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the beginning of the school year near Portage, IN. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy for a diverse group of elementary students across two buildings.
- Manage a larger caseload (117 students) with support from an assigned Speech-Language Assistant (SLA).
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress in collaboration with school teams.
- Deliver both direct instruction and consultative support, ensuring all students receive high-quality, individualized services.
- Maintain documentation and participate in meetings as required by school protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state, with CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.
- Previous experience in K-5 or elementary school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a larger, varied caseload with the assistance of an SLA.
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Comfort with technology; openness to providing services both onsite and virtually.
