Infectious Disease Physician Opportunity at MercyOne Waterloo
Job Description
Our organization is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to become a part of our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, and illnesses related to travel
- Provide consultations for inpatients and assist with post-surgical care
- Work collaboratively with primary care providers and specialty teams
- Engage in wound clinic activities and conduct hospital rounds
- Deliver travel medicine services and administer vaccinations
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary guarantee of $285,261 for two years, plus production bonuses
- Recruitment incentives totaling $150,000
- Moving allowance of $15,000
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and malpractice coverage
- Annual CME allowance of $6,000 along with retirement plans
- This position is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
