Our client, an industry leader in tree care, recycling equipment and waste wood processing, is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production and operational activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Winn, MI

Pay Range: Starting at $14.92 to $17.53 (depending on department and experience)

What's the Job?

  • Machine Operators: Operate manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, press brakes, saws, lasers, and other production equipment.
    • Machine operation experience REQUIRED
  • Material Handlers: Load, unload, move, organize, and store materials throughout production areas.
    • Forklift experience REQUIRED
  • Painters: Prepare surfaces and apply coatings, paints, or sprays according to company standards.
    • Paint experience REQUIRED
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, prints, schematics, and product specifications.
  • Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED, REQUIRED
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to read and use tape measures and basic measuring instruments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
