The OR Tech I is an integral part of the surgical team, operating under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves collaborating with both the surgeon and RN to ensure optimal patient care and taking on essential responsibilities before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an OR Technician training program
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently

• Certification as a Surgical Technician is mandatory
• NBSTSA Certification is required
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is necessary

• Shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Availability for alternating weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
