\nWe are hiring a part-time nocturnal intensivist to join our team, working five night shifts per month. Excellent team to work with in a lovely community hospital!

We are a team of four physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs).
\n - \n
Frederick Memorial Hospital values its clinical staff by offering free parking and a comfortable lounge area for socializing with fellow hospital providers and enjoying meals. We provide full subspecialty support.

Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care. Many of our team members are active in several committees including stroke, sepsis, and practice guidelines.

Qualifications:

Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
\n - \n
A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting.

Authorized to work in the United States.
\n
Scheduling:

5-night shifts per month.
\n - \n
Block schedule. We collaborate to manage the schedule as equitably as possible, ensuring intensivists achieve an outstanding work/family life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Our 20-bed ICU is closed, and we primarily care for med/surg patients. Our critical care facility is modern, having opened in the fall of 2022.

We have one intensivist during the day and one intensivist at night. Monday-Friday there is an APP that works alongside the intensivist during the day.

For a community hospital, we have excellent subspecialty support. Sound manages the emergency medicine and hospitalist services as well and we help each other to provide the best possible patient care. In July 2023 Frederick Health was named a winner of the "Best Places to Work Award."
