Physical Therapist - School Setting in Plainfield, IL

A contract physical therapist is needed to provide support for students across a large district, serving a diverse student population of approximately 14,000. This role offers flexibility for in-person or hybrid work and will span the full academic year, from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

In this engaging environment, you'll provide essential direct physical therapy services, work collaboratively in a consultative capacity with teachers and staff, conduct thorough evaluations, and participate in student-centered meetings to support educational plans. Full-time hours range from 37.5 to 40 per week, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and colleagues while truly making a difference.

• A valid Physical Therapist license and credentials for school-based practice
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Ability to deliver both direct and consultative PT services

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort with a flexible schedule and district-wide travel as needed

Responsibilities include:

• Administering individualized physical therapy sessions based on student IEPs
