\nWhat You’ll Do\n
\n
\nAs a Diesel Technician at Hiltz, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our truck fleet.\n
\n
\nResponsibilities include:\n
\n
\n* Troubleshoot diesel engines and perform electrical, hydraulic and mechanical repairs\n
\n* Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues\n
\n* Determine what parts and tools are required to make repairs\n
\n* Follow checklists and protocols when conducting repairs\n
\n* Performing preventative maintenance to ensure fleet reliability\n
\n* Input and maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs\n
\n* Track parts inventory and order parts as needed\n
\n* Working independently with a strong sense of responsibility\n
\n* Support coworkers and be a good team player\n
\n
\nWhat We’re Looking For\n
\n
\n* Proven diesel mechanic experience\n
\n* Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems\n
\n* Experience with various vehicle and engine types\n
\n* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently\n
\n* CDL license preferred\n
\n* Welding experience is a plus\n
\n
