Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services for a caseload of 20 students and supervise an SLPA. This role begins August 17th, 2026, and continues through June 14th, 2027, offering a fulfilling, part-time contract of 20-25 hours per week. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Maryland Teaching Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience supporting or supervising SLPAs is highly valued
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse group of students and support their academic and social communication goals
- Oversee and mentor an SLPA, providing guidance and professional supervision
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accurate progress documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Engage in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Offer flexible, student-centered interventions in person or via hybrid modalities as needed
