Quick Facts Location: St. Joseph Warren Hospital, Warren, Ohio Start Date: As soon as possible End Date/Duration: Ongoing until staffing needs are met Shift: Physicians 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / Midwives 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Hours/week: 36 hours (approximate, based on shifts) Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: Ohio Medical License; CNM certification for midwives Experience: Prior OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay: Hourly rate of $19,500 (gross/week) Benefits: Reimbursement for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage (billed at IRS standard rate) Additional: Support from onsite RNs and CNMs; on-site ultrasound and lab services What You’ll Do Provide labor and delivery care for low and high-risk pregnancies Manage routine and complicated childbirth procedures, including cesarean sections and breech deliveries Collaborate with support staff and other providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes Assist with gynecological procedures such as laparoscopic diagnostics and minor surgeries Document patient care efficiently using Epic EMR system What You Need Required: Active Ohio medical license Credentials to perform obstetrics and gynecology procedures Proven experience in labor and delivery settings Preferred: Prior experience in Level III neonatal units Ability to handle high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries About the Assignment This assignment is based at a leading hospital in Warren, Ohio, supporting a Level III NICU with dedicated OB/GYN and midwife teams.
