Job Description

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting classroom teachers in daily instructional tasks and activities
- Supporting individual students or small groups with targeted instruction
- Promoting positive classroom behavior and assisting with classroom management
- Helping prepare learning materials, displays, and classroom spaces
- Aiding students with special needs in accordance with their individual education plans
- Supervising students in various school settings such as the cafeteria, playground, or during transitions
- Fostering a safe, welcoming, and respectful atmosphere for all students
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Previous paraprofessional or classroom support experience preferred
- Comfortable working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions from instructional staff
- Ability to manage routine classroom tasks and adapt to changing situations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or related field is a plus
