Quick Facts Location: Carrollton, GA (705 Dixie Street, Carrollton, GA 30117) Start Date: Flexible, ASAP End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: Day shifts with home-call rotation Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent License/Certs: Georgia Medical License, Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatology Experience: Prior neonatology experience preferred, but new graduates considered Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application) Additional Compensation: Annual bonus potential, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life and Disability insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), HSA options 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Voluntary benefits via payroll deduction Some employer-paid benefits at no cost What You’ll Do Provide neonatology coverage for a Level-III NICU with 10 beds and approx. 1,000 births annually Deliver care for newborns in a 20-bed newborn unit supported by Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) Participate in a 3-physician staffing model ensuring collaborative, high-quality care Perform daily rounds within NICU and newborn settings Oversee clinical management of critically ill and premature infants Support admissions, stabilization, and ongoing treatment of neonatal patients Collaborate with nursing staff, NNPs, and multidisciplinary teams Contribute to home-based call coverage; schedule supported by daytime APP/NNP coverage Maintain a commitment to evidence-based, high-quality neonatal care Adapt to a modern, renovated facility offering a state-of-the-art environment What You Need Georgia medical license (or eligible) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology Experience in neonatal critical care is preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment This permanent role is with a highly respected healthcare system in Carrollton, Georgia, dedicated to providing excellent neonatal care.
