Emergency Medicine Physician – Medford, OR | Inpatient Hospital Coverage Looking for flexible inpatient Emergency Medicine shifts in Medford, OR? Quick Facts: Location: 1111 Crater Lake Avenue, Medford, OR 97504 Start Date: 07/21/2026 Duration: Ongoing/Per Diem Shift: 9am-9pm or 11pm-6am (may extend to 7am) Hours/Week: 4-8 shifts per month, 8 hours guaranteed per shift Employment Type: Locum Tenens Licensure: Active Oregon medical license, DEA, BC or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency) Experience: Minimum required – ACLS, BLS, current CV included Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00 plus a $25/hour incentive for confirmed night shifts Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2 employment) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws What You’ll Do: Provide emergency inpatient care at a busy hospital in Medford, OR Cover scheduled shifts including both day and night hours Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver high-quality patient care Adhere to hospital protocols, documentation, and safety standards Manage a patient volume totaling approximately 37,000 annually Participate in orientation and ongoing staffing as needed Ensure timely completion of credentialing and licensure requirements What You Need: Oregon medical license (Active) and DEA registration Board Certified or eligible (within 3-5 years of residency) in Emergency Medicine ACLS and BLS certifications 4+ shifts per month availability, with flexibility for night shifts Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently About the Assignment: Join a dynamic team serving a busy emergency department in Medford, Oregon, with a volume of approximately 37,000 patient visits annually.
