Quick Facts Location: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, 17 Belmont Avenue, Brattleboro, VT 05301 Start Date: ASAP / Flexible Duration: Permanent / Full-Time Shift: 3-4 clinic days/week + OR days (average 3 per month) Hours/Week: Approximately 36-40 hours/week Employment Type: Full-time staff physician License/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience: Preferred additional experience in minimally invasive procedures; recent grads considered with strong academic background Pay & Benefits Salary Range: $280,000 - $360,000 annually (based on experience and internal considerations) Additional Compensation: For extra call beyond scheduled rotation Benefits Include: Full medical coverage Generous vacation and holiday pay CME allowance Pension plan Possible student loan repayment through Vermont state programs Flexible scheduling supporting work-life balance Practice autonomy with collaborative hospital administration What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services to a diverse patient population Manage gynecologic consultations referred by primary care providers and midwives Perform office-based gynecologic procedures and advanced laparoscopic surgeries Maintain steady surgical volume utilizing three operating rooms Support vaginal births, water births, VBACs, and epidural services at the hospital birth center Share on-call responsibilities (1 in 4 rotation) for obstetric cases Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurse midwives, and nurses Practice evidence-based medicine in a climate with strong reproductive rights Engage in a stable, low-turnover practice environment What You Need Required: U.S. medical license, Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Preferred: Experience with minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic procedures; strong communication skills Must Not: Be on visa; open to candidates planning parallel work arrangements, locums, or temporary staff About the Assignment Join a respected, community-oriented OB/GYN practice at a top Vermont hospital.
