Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students' communication growth in a vibrant educational setting near Mount Vernon, GA! A dedicated, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist—holding active CCC credentials—is needed for the upcoming academic year, serving from August 24th through May 21st. You’ll work closely with another on-site SLP, sharing a balanced caseload while making a difference across middle and high school populations, with some time spent with elementary students.

You’ll encounter a caseload primarily featuring mild to moderate communication needs, focusing on language and articulation delays—making it a great role for those who thrive on seeing growth unfold across a variety of ages.
Ideal background and preferred experience:
- Current SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working on a collaborative team, sharing caseload responsibilities
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs for speech and language services
- Adept at working with mild to moderate communication needs (articulation and language)
- No SLPA or CFY applicants, per district requirements
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students, mainly MS/HS with some elementary
- Conduct assessment, progress monitoring, and documentation in line with district and state frameworks
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow SLP for optimal student outcomes
- Develop and update IEP goals, progress notes, and related documentation
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and school activities as assigned
