Quick Facts: Location: Dothan, AL Start Date: 12/01/2023 Position Duration: Permanent Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (shared call coverage) Hours/Week: Full-time License/Certifications: Active Alabama Medical License (required before start), Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology Experience: 20+ years in cardiac electrophysiology preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application Comprehensive benefits to be provided upon offer What You’ll Do: Perform a full range of electrophysiology procedures, including invasive and non-invasive assessments Conduct transseptal punctures, ventricular tachycardia ablations, pulmonary vein isolation, and cardioneuroablations Share call responsibilities with other electrophysiologists in the practice Participate in multidisciplinary patient care at an accredited Chest Pain Center Contribute to the development and management of cardiac rehab and autonomic dysfunction programs (experience helpful) Collaborate with a team of cardiologists, surgeons, and radiologists in a leading heart center What You Need: Valid Alabama medical license or eligibility to obtain one Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology (eligible by 2025) Extensive experience in invasive and non-invasive electrophysiology procedures Strong leadership skills and team collaboration abilities Willingness to pursue licensure if not currently licensed in Alabama About the Assignment: This role is based at a prominent Heart & Vascular Center in Dothan, AL, known for its innovative cardiac care programs and advanced procedures like TAVR and Watchman device placements. The center offers an established arrhythmia program and a collaborative environment with other electrophysiologists and specialists.
