Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Service Technician or similar maintenance/repair role
  • Experience servicing construction, industrial, automotive, or commercial equipment
  • Exposure to electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
  • Comfortable working at heights (equipment ranges from 30ft–600ft)
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel as needed
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage service tasks

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with aerial lift, access, or platform equipment
  • Field service or installation experience
  • Customer-facing/on-site support experience
  • Preventative maintenance and inspection knowledge
  • Rental equipment industry experience
  • OSHA or other safety certifications
  • Commercial/industrial construction background

Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair powered scaffolding equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Support equipment both in-shop and at customer job sites
  • Travel occasionally across the U.S. to service and support clients
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Service Technician for a leading construction equipment company specializing in powered scaffolding solutions. This technician will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment used across various job sites. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working at heights while diagnosing equipment issues in both shop and field environments. This opportunity offers strong growth potential, technical training, and exposure to a wide range of customer-facing service experiences in a fast-paced industry.

Compensation: $60,000-$62,000 salary.

Schedule: Onsite in Canton, OH; Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM.
