Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of students within ASD classrooms
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educational teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with students, staff, and families
- Capacity to maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to school and state guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to a diverse caseload of 40–55 onsite students with ASD
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster student growth and participation
- Assess, document, and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate in assessment, referral, and collaborative problem-solving processes
