Quick Facts: Location: Kansas City, MO (4401 Wornall Road) Start Date: 05/05/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: In-house, 24/7 coverage as part of a collaborative team Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent License/Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist Experience: 1+ year preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (rate structured as per internal record) Competitive pay packages based on experience and qualifications Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do: Provide in-house neonatal critical care for a Level-IIIB NICU with 49 beds Manage critically ill neonates using advanced therapies including inhaled nitric oxide, HFOV, HFJV, and therapeutic hypothermia Care for extremely low gestational age newborns (ELGANs), including infants as young as 22 weeks Support an average of 30 daily NICU admissions and over 450 annual admissions Collaborate with board-certified neonatologists and nurse practitioners for comprehensive care Oversee or support care in additional NICUs and well-baby units within the facility network Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regional neonatal care coordination Contribute to the advancement of neonatal medicine and regional delivery services What You Need: Valid medical license for Missouri Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology Minimum 1 year of neonatal critical care experience preferred Strong clinical skills in advanced neonatal therapies Excellent team communication and collaboration abilities About the Assignment: Join a highly specialized, collaborative neonatal care team dedicated to excellence in neonatal medicine.
