\nVortex Doors, America’s highest quality and most customer-centric commercial and industrial door repair company, is seeking a motivated Commercial Door Estimator to join our company. We are considering applicants with at least 4+ years of door industry experience.\n
\n
\n As a Commercial Door Estimator, your primary responsibility is to provide products and services to Customers, promote long term Customer retention, and follow through with the Internal Customer Service Team to ensure the Customer is satisfied with the work we performed.\n
\n
\nResponsibilities:\n
\n
\nWork with Customers to provide accurate and suitable products and services to meet their needs\n
\nFollow up on leads provided and look for new opportunities, looking for ways to generate business and new leads\n
\nWork with the Team Leader and Service Manager to achieve sales goals\n
\nFollow up on all pending Service Quotes in a set time frame\n
\nProvide some technical training to Service Technicians\n
\nManage and order shop and truck materials as needed\n
\nAssist in Customer job scheduling and project management\n
\nProvide the best Vortex experience possible\n
\nBuild valuable relationships with all Customers, including key accounts\n
\nAlways promote Vortex positively\n
\nUsing lead generation tools, identify commercial and industrial construction projects that may require overhead doors, initiating contact with the general contractor and/or architect to gather project information and provide information on our products and services.\n
\nAnalyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for new construction projects.\n
\nComplete cost estimates within bid date/time.\n
\nPresent and explain the benefits of our services to potential clients.\n
\nNegotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.\n
\nProvide excellent customer service by following up on leads, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining long-term relationships.\n
\nCollaborate with the service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction.\n
\nMaintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.\n
\nRequirements:\n

\nClear communication: It is essential that you have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written form\n
\nEffective listening: Listening is the key to effective communication. Without the ability to listen carefully to what a Customer is saying, the message could be easily misunderstood and misinterpreted\n
\nResults driven and passionate about selling: Be passionate about the products and services we provide and strive to provide what’s best for the Customer and the Company\n
\nInterpersonal skills: Balance Customer’s and Company’s needs to make sure that the Customer is satisfied, and build a reputation as a person who is consistent and direct while still seeking to be helpful\n
\nWarranty qualifications, (save a warranty)(manage warranty calls)\n
\nQualification: 2 years as a Service Technician level IV or 2 years as CSR II\n
\nTo maintain operational consistency and ensure excellent customer service, Service Advisors are expected to adhere to the following attendance and sick leave guidelines of 5 days or less required. Consistent punctuality is required\n
\nSupport daily review procedures.\n
\n
\nWhat you should have:\n

\nEducation: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)\n
\nOther required knowledge, skills, and abilities:\n
\nAbility to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as work instructions and procedure manuals\n
\nAbility to speak effectively and interact with team members and leadership\n
\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in a situation\n
\nBasic computer knowledge and ability to learn\n
\nA good driving record with valid driver's license\n
\nExperience in field service\n
\nExperience in sales and customer service\n

\n Work Conditions:\n

\nFull-time shifts are available between Vortex business hours of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday and must be able to work some overtime and on-call hours.\n
\nContinuous on-going training provided as you continue to grow with Vortex.\n
\nThe job environment is fast paced and results oriented.\n
\nBe able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license.\n
