Quick Facts: Location: 2700 Dolbeer Street, Eureka, CA 95501 Start Date: 11/21/2026 End Date: Multiple options (see below) Schedule: Clinic hours and weeknight/weekend call (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; 5:00 PM – 8:30 AM; 24-hour weekend call) Hours/week: Guaranteed 8 hours/day, 9 hours for OT considerations Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licensure/Certs: Active California medical license, DEA, Board Certification required, Fluoro certification (temporary accepted) Experience: Board-certified or recent graduate within 3–5 years of residency with complex spine cases experience, 2+ years current hospital activity, 100+ cases in past 24 months Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $1.00 (please confirm actual rate upon application; placeholder used) Benefits: • Competitive pay packages • Weekly pay via direct deposit • Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) • Robust referral bonus program • Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws • Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery care at the facility in Eureka, CA Be responsible for complex spine procedures and general neurosurgical cases Handle clinic consultations and intensive call coverage, including weeknights and weekends Participate in case management and coordinate with hospital teams Document procedures and maintain compliance with hospital privileges and policies What You Need: Active California medical license and DEA registration Board Certification in Neurosurgery (or qualified/eligible) 2+ years current hospital neurosurgery experience Fluoro certification (temporary accepted) Ability to perform complex spine surgeries and manage emergency cases Preferred: Recent hospital activity with a high case volume Experience with neurotrauma or advanced neurodiagnostics About the Assignment: This assignment involves providing specialized neurosurgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings for a leading facility in Eureka, California.
