Quick Facts Location: Oklahoma City, OK Start Date: 08/24/2026 End Date: 11/23/2026 Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with PRN call and occasional PTO coverage Work Details: PRN, support staff include physicians, RN, OR, and CV teams Patient Volume: 3 adult patients per day Experience Required: 2+ years, NCCPA or BC-NP with RNFA certification Licenses/Certifications: OK license preferred, BLS, ACLS, DEA, OBN if applicable EMR System: Epic Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $141.96/hour (regular hours) Overtime: 1.3x after 40 hours per week Night Shift / Call: $390 per call shift; $1,300 per 24-hour call day Travel & Reimbursements: Airfare, lodging, rental car or mileage included Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, robust referral bonus program, 24/7 support from VHS team, pay package discussed upon application What You’ll Do Assist with vascular surgical procedures including vein harvesting and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair Support intraoperative care as first assistant in cardiovascular and vascular cases Use EVH (endoscopic vein harvesting) techniques for bypass procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary OR and CV teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success Provide intraoperative support and first assist in surgeries, maintaining sterile protocol Support the surgical team during scheduled and PRN procedures as needed Maintain accurate documentation in Epic system What You Need Required: NCCPA or BC-NP with RNFA certification Valid Oklahoma license (preferred) or eligible for licensure in OK BLS and ACLS certification DEA registration Minimum 2 years of vascular/surgical experience EVH experience for CABG procedures Ability to support in OR as first assist Preferred: Oklahoma licensure Experience working with Epic EMR system About the Assignment This assignment involves providing surgical support for vascular procedures at a leading facility in Oklahoma City.
