Quick Facts: Location: Eureka, CA Start Date: 07/17/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing based on assignment needs Shift: 24-Hour Beeper Call (Inpatient) Hours/Week: Flexible, based on call schedule Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem License/Certs: Active CA Medical License, ACTIVE FLURO, DEA, BC/BE within 3-5 years of residency Experience: 2+ years of clinical hospital activity in Interventional Cardiology recommended Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $1.00 (rates to be filled out on bid) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via Direct Deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust Referral Bonus Program Paid sick time per law Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient interventional cardiology services during scheduled shifts Respond to 24-hour on-call emergencies involving cardiac interventions Perform catheterizations, stent placements, and other interventional procedures Collaborate with hospital and specialist teams to ensure quality patient care Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient encounters Participate in case logs and adhere to hospital privileging requirements What You Need: Required: Active CA Medical License Current DEA Board Certification or Eligibility in Cardiology (Interventional) ACTIVE FLURO certification Minimum 2 years of hospital clinical experience in cardiology Preferred: Prior inpatient cardiology and cath lab experience Ability to handle high-pressure situations and respond promptly during emergencies About the Assignment: Join a respected, full-service hospital in Eureka for an inpatient, call-only cardiology assignment.
