Hematology/Oncology Physician – Prestonsburg, KY | Outpatient 12-Month Contract Are you a board-certified Hematology/Oncology physician looking for a rewarding outpatient opportunity in Kentucky? Join a leading facility in Prestonsburg, KY, offering a flexible schedule, competitive hourly pay, and an excellent support team. This position provides the flexibility of 3-5 days per week, a Monday-Friday daytime schedule, and a low patient volume of approximately 15 per day. Start as soon as April 27, 2026, with a contract length through April 26, 2027. Quick Facts Location: Prestonsburg, KY Start Date: 04/27/2026 End Date: 04/26/2027 Shift: Day, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, no call Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Experience: Recent patient-facing experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $479.70 Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to all applicable laws 24/7 dedicated team supporting your success throughout your contract What You’ll Do Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology care in a low-volume, solo provider setting Support patients with diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care Collaborate with APP support and other physicians at the facility Utilize Meditech EMR to document patient encounters Contribute to a team focused on quality patient outcomes Participate in scheduling flexibility to meet patient and facility needs What You Need Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology Recent clinical experience in outpatient settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a low-volume practice About the Assignment This outpatient Hematology/Oncology position is located at a leading facility in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
