Quick Facts Location: 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303 Start Date: 05/15/2026 End Date: Permanent, full-time position Shift: Monday - Friday, with every-other-night call schedule Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent License/Certs: Board-certified or eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Experience: Fellowship trained or practicing Neonatologist with relevant experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Note: Confirmed pay rate, likely placeholder; salary discussed at interview) Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA) Retirement plan (401(k)) Employee Stock Purchase Program Voluntary benefit options Paid sick leave Reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and relocation What You'll Do Lead and deliver comprehensive care in a busy Level III NICU (~370-400 admissions/year) Manage a high-acuity neonatal patient population with an average census of 25-29 infants Perform advanced interventions such as high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia Participate in well-baby rounding in collaboration with residency programs Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Neonatologists, NNPs, pediatric subspecialists, and support staff Provide clinical leadership within an academic and family-centered environment Support hospital and community-based neonatal health initiatives What You Need Valid Medical License in South Carolina or eligibility to obtain one Certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (board-certified or eligible) Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Minimum of 1+ years relevant neonatal care experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a regional healthcare system committed to delivering world-class, family-centered neonatal care.
