Nuclear Combo Welder - Pipe

Talascend is hiring Nuclear Combo Welders for pipe work in Waynesboro, Georgia at the Vogtle Outage. This is a contract role scheduled to start August 24, 2026 and run through September 12, 2026.

Qualified candidates must have recent nuclear site badging experience and be able to complete PHQ requirements.

Job Details:

* Nuclear pipe welding work

\n * Contract dates: 8/24/2026 through 9/12/2026
\n * Day shift
\n * 12-hour days
\n * $47/hour, W2
\n * $150/day per diem
\n * $500 mobilization bonus
\n * $500 demobilization bonus paid at completion
\n * Location: Waynesboro, GA

Requirements:

* Must have been badged at a nuclear site within the last 1-3 years
\n * Must be able to complete PHQ
\n * Must pass a 2-inch Schedule 160 carbon steel pipe 6G combo weld test
\n * Weld test includes TIG root/hot pass and Stick fill/cap
\n * Must be available to start August 24, 2026
\n * Must submit name, phone number, last nuclear badge month/year, and resume
