Quick Facts Location: 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115 Start Date: 08/04/2026 End Date: 11/03/2026 (with potential extension) Shift: 3x12-hour shifts per week (primarily weekends, days/nights available) Hours/week: 36 Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: MA State License, PALS, DEA Experience: Minimum 2 years in pediatric care, pain management experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $159.46/hour Pay Package: Competitive pay plus weekly direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You’ll Do Provide inpatient pain management care for pediatric patients recovering from surgery Manage complex cases including cancer pain, sickle cell, and critically ill children Administer and oversee pain procedures such as epidurals and PCA management Assess patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with attending MD and charge APRNs Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR Support patients in critical condition and those weaning from sedatives Work primarily weekend daytime or night shifts, including blocked shifts as scheduled What You Need Valid MA State Nurse Practitioner License Certification as a Pediatric NP or Pediatric Acute Care NP with relevant experience Minimum 2 years pediatric inpatient experience BLS and PALS certification (additional certifications preferred) Strong assessment skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate clearly Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to start promptly with credentialing completed within 60 days About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Boston’s renowned medical community.
