Position Summary\nThe Nurse Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for the Cardiovascular Operating Room, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and efficient department operations. This role collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical, quality, and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Manage daily CVOR operations, staffing, scheduling, and patient flow. \n
- Lead and support nursing staff through coaching, performance management, and professional development. \n
- Monitor quality, safety, and patient satisfaction outcomes. \n
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. \n
- Analyze operational and clinical data to drive performance improvement. \n
- Manage department resources, productivity, and budget goals. \n
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture. \n
Education
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree required. \n
- Internal transfer applicants without a Bachelor's degree may be considered if actively pursuing a Baccalaureate degree (enrolled and completing at least one course per semester). \n
- BSN preferred. \n
- Master's degree preferred. \n
Licensure
\n- \n
- Current RN License or RN Temporary Permit in the state of practice. \n
Experience
\n- \n
- Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience required. \n
- Leadership and perioperative/CVOR experience preferred. \n
Other Requirements
\n- \n
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and supervisory skills. \n
- Proficiency with personal computers and healthcare information systems. \n
- Ability to analyze complex data and support operational decision-making. \n
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. \n
