Quick Facts Location: Alexandria, LA (501 Medical Center Drive) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Permanent, full-time position Shift: 7-on/7-off schedule, home call, unit-based coverage Hours/Week: Flexible based on shift Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics, Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology Experience: Prior Neonatal ICU experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (discussed upon application) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance; Life & Disability coverage; HSA; 401(k); sign-on bonus & relocation assistance available; employer-supported wellness programs What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 34 beds and diverse acuity levels Conduct daily rounds, oversee patient care plans, and support clinical protocols Collaborate with a team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners Support approximately 1,500–2,000 deliveries annually Oversee neonatal transports and in-house patient management Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary team efforts Contribute to clinical excellence in a collegial, supportive environment What You Need Required: Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology Valid Louisiana medical license or eligibility Board Certification/Eligibility verified through certification boards Preferred: Experience working in a Level III NICU Residency in or near Alexandria, LA Commitment to quality neonatal care and team collaboration About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, and deliver advanced neonatal care in a high-acuity NICU setting.
