Quick Facts Location: 500 Campus Drive, Hancock, MI 49930 Start Date: 07/18/2026 End Date: Ongoing / flexible Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week (8AM – 8PM; may vary) Hours/week: Variable (based on schedule) Employment Type: Contractor / Locum License/Certs: Michigan Medical License, Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (required) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Emergency Medicine preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Note: pay is for illustration; actual pay discussed upon application) Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and related reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide emergency care to an average of 36 patients per day Manage both inpatient and outpatient cases in a fast-paced ED setting Collaborate with RN staff and APPs to deliver high-quality care Document patient encounters using Meditech EMR Admit approximately 3 patients per shift Participate in onsite orientation prior to your first shift Cover shifts as scheduled, potentially including future dates or ongoing assignments What You Need Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (or Board Eligible with certification in progress) Valid Michigan Medical License or ability to obtain Minimum 1 year of emergency medicine experience Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset About the Assignment This assignment is at a leading facility in Hancock, Michigan, providing comprehensive emergency services with a dedicated team committed to patient safety and quality care. Support staff includes ED RNs and one APP, ensuring smooth operations and patient management.
