This full-time, in-person contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a network of schools serving communities from Chicago through North Chicago. Being Spanish/English bilingual is highly preferred, though not mandatory, giving you the chance to reach a wider spectrum of students and families.

This assignment runs from July 2026 to June 2027, supporting multiple school locations (grades PreK-8 and K-8) with a focus on both inclusion and direct interventions. You’ll become an integral part of multidisciplinary teams dedicated to helping every student find their voice and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What sets you apart:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and provide targeted therapeutic interventions
  • Spanish fluency highly valued, but open to all candidates committed to bridging communication gaps
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility for travel between school sites within the network
