Quick Facts Location: Portland, OR (Providence St. Vincent Medical Center & Providence Portland Medical Center) Start Date: As soon as possible Duration: Permanent Shift: 12- or 24-hour shifts (7am-7pm, 7am-7am) Hours/Week: 36-40 hours Employment Type: Full-time Licenses/Certifications: Neonatal NP or PA licensed or willing to obtain OR license Experience: Completion of a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency; ICU or NICU experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (per the current job order, additional compensation details discussed upon application) Benefits: Medical, dental, vision insurance options Retirement plan options Paid time off and holidays Malpractice insurance Continuing education opportunities What You’ll Do Manage high-risk neonatal and infant patients within Level III NICUs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and support staff Perform and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatments Conduct deliveries and assist with procedures as part of your clinical role Provide family-centered education and support for patients and relatives Exercise autonomy in ordering and managing diagnostic and treatment protocols What You Need Required: Active Oregon or ability to obtain Oregon license in OR Neonatal NP or PA certification, with recent fellowship or residency training in neonatology Experience with delivery room procedures and high acuity NICU patient management Preferred: Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to handle high-volume, high-complexity neonatal care About the Assignment This opportunity is at a leading facility in Portland, Oregon, supporting high-volume NICUs with emphasis on delivering family-centered, high-quality care.
