Quick Facts Location: 1101 West Liberty Street, Farmington, MO 63640 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent role Shift: Day shifts; no after-hours STEMI call Hours/week: Full-time standard hours Employment Type: Permanent employed position Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology (BE in 2026 preferred) Experience: Recent fellowship candidates and experienced cardiologists welcome, up to 2027 fellows Pay & Benefits Pay Package: Base salary: $650,000 (guaranteed for 2 years) transitioning to productivity model Sign-on bonus: $50,000 Monthly fellowship stipend: $2,000 (if applicable) Additional Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Generous relocation assistance 4 weeks PTO plus 5 CME days; CME allowance provided annually Retirement plans: 401(k) with match, 457(b) Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Tuition reimbursement and PSLF eligibility Employee Assistance Program and system-wide discounts What You’ll Do Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care at Parkland Health Center in Farmington Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and peripheral vascular procedures Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists, invasive cardiologists, and advanced practice providers Participate in a 1:4 call schedule with minimal call-backs Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation Engage in program development and community outreach initiatives Enjoy mentorship opportunities, especially for recent fellowship graduates What You Need Required: MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligible in Interventional Cardiology (BE in 2026 preferred) Missouri medical license or eligibility to obtain one Excellent clinical skills and a collaborative attitude Preferred: Up to 2027 fellowship completion Experience with device/pacemaker implantations (not required) About the Assignment Join a well-respected, physician-led organization with a focus on quality care and work-life balance.
