\nThe Convenience Store Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to company recipes, food safety standards, and customer expectations. This position ensures that hot food displays are stocked, kitchen areas remain clean and organized, and customers receive high-quality food products in a timely manner.\n

\n*Responsibilities*\n
\n
\n* Prepare and cook menu items including breakfast foods, sandwiches, fried foods, pizza, and other convenience store offerings.\n
\n* Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation procedures.\n
\n* Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standards.\n
\n* Monitor food temperatures and comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.\n
\n* Stock and replenish ingredients, supplies, and food display areas.\n
\n* Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas.\n
\n* Receive and properly store food deliveries.\n
\n* Minimize food waste and manage inventory levels.\n
\n* Assist customers with food-related questions and special requests.\n
\n* Work collaboratively with store team members to ensure efficient operations.\n
\n* Follow company policies, safety procedures, and health department requirements.\n

\n*Qualifications*\n
\n
\n* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.\n
\n* Previous cooking, food service, or convenience store experience preferred.\n
\n* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.\n
\n* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\n
\n* Strong attention to detail and time management skills.\n
\n* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.\n
\n* Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.\n
