Adecco is assisting a premier employer in the area in recruiting a Calibration Technician for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity in St. Albans, VT. If you enjoy hands-on technical work, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing operations, this could be the perfect fit.

What You'll Do

  • Perform calibration, maintenance, and verification of plant instruments, equipment, and measurement devices.

  • Maintain accurate calibration records within a computerized calibration management system.

  • Troubleshoot equipment that does not meet calibration standards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to complete work efficiently and on schedule.

  • Conduct peer reviews of calibration documentation and support compliance requirements.

  • Assist with training and mentoring technicians while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; technical degree or certification preferred.

  • Experience in calibration, maintenance, manufacturing, instrumentation, or a related technical field.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, test equipment, and calibration instruments.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized systems.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as needed.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $35.00 per hour
