Quick Facts: Location: Georgetown, DE Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: Monday-Friday, day shift; 8-hour shifts Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Permanent Licenses/Certifications: Medical License in Delaware, Board Certification preferred Experience: Previous inpatient psychiatry experience preferred, 2+ years Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (discuss during interview) Benefits: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) plan CME stipend Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients, managing a caseload of approximately 18 patients per day Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for a variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety, affective, personality, developmental, psychotic, substance use, and trauma-related disorders Participate in involuntary commitments, medication management, and therapy as needed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care Adhere to safety protocols and documentation standards using WellSky EMR Support a stable, no-call, no-weekend schedule, with occasional weekend coverage (once per month) What You Need: Active medical license in Delaware Board-certified or eligible in Psychiatry Familiarity with involuntary commitments and psychopharmacology Proven inpatient psychiatry experience (minimum 2 years preferred) Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment: Join SUN Behavioral Health Delaware, a leading facility in Georgetown, DE, dedicated to providing compassionate inpatient psychiatric care.
