Quick Facts: Location: 1215 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48912 Start Date: 07/05/2026 End Date/Duration: TBD (based on project needs) Shift: Day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Hours/Week: Full-time (based on shift schedule) Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: Active Michigan license required, NRP certification, board-certified neonatal experience required Experience: Minimum of 2 years neonatal NICU experience; no new grads Pay Rate: Rate to be discussed upon application; includes malpractice, orientation, holiday, and overtime pay Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, referral program, licensure/reimbursements, travel reimbursement, and more What You’ll Do: Provide medical care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting Attend delivery rooms and perform neonatal resuscitations Assist with procedures such as PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, chest tube insertion, and needle aspiration Collaborate closely with supervising physicians during your shift Document patient care accurately within the Epic EMR system Support the unit’s short-staffed Neonatal ICU during coverage period What You Need: Valid Michigan state license (no provisional or new licenses) Certification in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Board certification in neonatal or related specialty At least 2 years of NICU experience Key skills: neonatal resuscitation, procedural competency, team collaboration Preferred: experience with Epic EMR, prior NICU coverage About the Assignment: This engaging assignment in Lansing at a leading hospital offers a dynamic environment dedicated to neonatal care excellence.
