Job Title: HVAC Technician (Residential & Commercial)
Location: Pittston, PA
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a strong background in both residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with all safety and industry standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues using appropriate testing equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and ventilation systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Conduct system performance testing and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection in accordance with EPA regulations.
Replace defective components, including motors, compressors, thermostats, controls, belts, and electrical parts.
Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers and management.
Complete accurate service reports, maintenance records, and work orders.
Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and professional manner.
Adhere to all OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 3+ years of HVAC experience in residential and commercial environments.
EPA Section 608 Certification.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, controls, and mechanical components.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshooting schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
HVAC Trade School certification or Associate Degree.
NATE Certification.
Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and commercial controls.
Experience servicing rooftop units (RTUs), boilers, chillers, and VRF/VRV systems.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in confined spaces, on rooftops, ladders, and in varying weather conditions.
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
Ability to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
