Quick Facts Location: 2213 Cherry Street, Toledo, OH 43608 Start Date: 08/07/2026 Duration: Coverage needed from August 7, 2026, ongoing as needed Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (coverage varies) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem Licenses/Certifications: Valid Ohio medical license, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Experience: Minimum 2 years of OB hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50/hr Pay Schedule: Weekly pay via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Support from a dedicated team committed to your success throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide OB labor and delivery coverage at a busy teaching hospital Manage low and high-risk pregnancies using established protocols Perform obstetric ultrasounds and interpret fetal heart rate monitoring Assist during deliveries including vaginal, operative, and emergency cesarean sections Collaborate with residents, midwives, and nursing staff to ensure quality patient care Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record system (Epic) Support inpatient gynecology procedures as needed What You Need Ohio medical license in good standing Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology 2+ years of hospitalist OB experience preferred Proficiency in FHR interpretation, ultrasounds, and obstetric procedures Strong communication and team collaboration skills About the Assignment Join a welcoming, high-level obstetrics unit within a trusted medical center in Toledo. The facility is equipped with 10 labor and delivery beds, onsite lab and ultrasound services, and a Level III nursery. Providers will work alongside residents and nursing staff in a teaching hospital environment committed to excellence in patient care.
